Caribbean Pirates

Caribbean Pirates is a remastered version of Pirates of the Caribbean (2003), the fan-favourite classic action RPG originally developed by Akella as Sea Dogs 2 (II). Ported to an upgraded and refined Storm Engine 2.8, this version of the game runs with DirectX 9 rendering, widescreen support and MSA functionality to deliver a smoother gameplay experience, while keeping nearly all of the original experience.

Set in the 17th-century Caribbean, the game blends open-world exploration, naval combat, and role-playing elements. Players take on the role of Nathaniel Hawk, a privateer navigating a world shaped by colonial powers, political intrigue, and piracy. You are free to sail between islands, trade goods, command ships, recruit crews and officers, and grow your character through skills and abilities.

The gameplay shifts between land and sea, featuring real-time ship battles, boarding actions, sword combat, and quest-driven exploration across towns, jungles, and ports. Alongside the main storyline centered on the mystery of a legendary ghost ship, the world is filled with side quests, optional storylines, and other adventures.

As a remaster, Caribbean Pirates modernizes the original game with:
